The toilet seat was only an issue at our house once. He got a chewing in the very wee hours, because I fell in. Since then he has been very good about putting the seat down. Just as well he has only girls.

Oh and as I have toddlers, putting the TV on the roll is a waste of time and toilet paper. We have learned to just keep it up high

Frankly, how anyone who has had small children or animals could ever complain about the seat being left up is beyond me . . . . The way I see it, elimination is happening in the proper place; I won't have to clean it up, so I'm good!

In my sister's home (the good one) the metal heat ducts are located about a foot to the side of the toilet. Not a good arrangement with 4 boys and a husband.
