BYC Café

In my sister's home (the good one) the metal heat ducts are located about a foot to the side of the toilet. Not a good arrangement with 4 boys and a husband.

Although... I can see it keeping the seat warm in the winter.... so not such a bad trade off..

I had no idea, this was such a sore subject with the hens.......

And then there's the old 'seat up or seat down' conversation starter in the wee hours of the morning,

DH does not even know where the extra tp rolls are kept.
My grand daughter has threatened to spank him over the seat up down thing!
He thinks It is good for me to have some excitement at night now and then. Never fails to wake up and laugh. I tell him there are better ways but I think it is him who relishes that excitement.

My Dad fixed the toilet up / down thing he velcroed the seat to the lid. Since it was just him and my brother living there he didn't want it to fall down.

Vehicles always have something go wrong at the most inconvenient times. It could have been much worse, DH was with me and the mall here has a play area. But we are an hour and a half from home. Hopefully it is nothing to big, DH thinks wheel bearing.

Aw gee, just what you need, right?

Wouldn't be an Explorer by any chance, would it? We replaced a wheel bearing on mine just a few weeks ago. It had been making a heck of a racket for a while, at some speeds, you could hardly hear yourself think! The vibration was what was really bothering me, though. Actually, with mine, it turned out to be both a wheel bearing and a warped rotor on the brakes . . . man, it was nice to get those things fixed; it felt like a different car!
