IMO, absolutely!
When all the indoor animals pass, I'll get another Dobie (rescue, of course). Female because I've had it with my dogs peeing on each other. Dominant color so either black or red.
This is one of the big reasons I have all females. Males are incredibly frustrating. Pee on everything! Drives me bonkers. Not only the dogs, either :p

Don't see many Dobermans around here. I've maybe met one or two? They are beautiful dogs.

I was gonna buy lunch but decided to just make my own. The egg and the greenish/brownish/chocolateish pepper are homegrown. The rest is from the store but still good. :) plenty more if anybody’s hungry lol

Oh and having a cup of green tea with it too. :D

Oh and now that I’ve been eating vegetables again and not toast with peanut butter and jelly on it or some other fast “meal”, I have way more energy too. :lau

:yesss: I'm so proud of you!!! :clapPS. nothing wrong with PB & toast as long as the PB is 'clean' & the bread is wholesome.

The love of my life "Meatball" is winding down & I'm having a hard time with it. He's 12 & I just cant figure out were all that time went. Trying to give him as much love, comfort & quality time in his last (year? months? weeks? days?) as possible.

One good thing about old, small dogs... They're easier to carry up the porch steps & onto the bed than a big dog is. See how positively positive I am.

I feel in the interests of gender fairness that I should point out that in my case at least, I do not pee on everything.
For example, I learn't very quickly not to pee anywhere near electric fencing.
There are lots of other places I don't pee as well; in the fridge, or on the cooker to site just two examples.

I bred cockers and the last three lived to be 14. The first two pets I bought as a teenager both, died early of cancer.

I do admit my dog soul mate was a very popular stud dog (sired 20 chs.) and he lifted his leg on everything and everybody. Luckily he didn't like being in the house - he preferred his kennel stall. He would just sneak in long enough to steal any toys he found.

In the kennel he discovered that sometimes the gate didn't latch fully. He'd try it and push with his nose - decorate everything he found in the kennel and then go back to his stall.

One look at all the yellow spots and I knew he had done it. His son never lifted his leg inside or outside. He tried once and lost his balance and never tried it again.

Hi all. Sorta gobsmacked a little. I mean it's October & it's snowing? The white stuff that falls from the sky? Seriously? How can you people live somewhere like that?
Ok, don't shoot me. It never snows where I live ~ & I mean never. I know nothing about the stuff, except that it's cold. And wet. And cold... Brrrrr
