This is my Marlow ~ who does sleep in my bed. :lau He likes to get his snout right in my ear & purr as loudly as he possibly can. I admit it is excellent sleep therapy. Sends me off real fast! :gig
I cant view that.

Drove across state to Longview today to see my daughter who just turned 50 in September. Sure is a lot prettier country here than where I live in Abilene. I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Happy birthday to your daughter Pert!

Lovely cat pictures. None of the chickens have shown any inclination to even enter the bedroom never mind get onto my bed.
Fat Bird came in once when I was sleeping and woke me up just to make sure I wasn't dead.
I'm more than happy to have various creatures, but mostly chickens, come and go as they please in my house, but not in my bed.:)

I cant view that.

Now? For a non cat lover... ??? ;)

On the way to the vet, Ben screamed in the back of the car three times. It's a 12 minute trip. He yelped again getting out of the car.
The Dr. suspects a spinal issue. Probably a cervical bulging disc. Ben is going on Prednisone and Gabapentin.
I insisted on him getting something before we left the clinic so the doc gave him a shot of Cortisone. We didn't leave for another 15 minutes after the shot.
Ben didn't cry out even once on the car trip home and is already moving around so much better.
My first Doberman, Amber, had a cervical injury that manifested itself about 3 years after my horse kicked her (bare foot, thank goodness) in the side of her neck. Amber went on a single course of Prednisone, never wore a collar or halter again and never had another episode of extreme pain.
I hope Ben will respond similarly.
