Mine were done separately as they occurred at different times. Mine were repaired with mesh but not laparoscopically .

My hubby had mesh and needed his redone.

One of mine did that. The other can't. While it's a terrible thing to happen to her she's got a good man and his family are good people. I flew over when she had her last miscarriage (she's had three) and in many ways I was glad the doctor said you can't try that again.

If she's got a good man she's ahead of the ball game. Hard though if she wanted kids.

I think it was very hard for him considering he's a Catholic Polish man and family is a big deal. One can only cross ones fingers and cover the eyes and hope.

Dobie, I just asked DH about his hernia surgery. He had the surgical incision and instead of mesh, the doc used what he called a "plug".

Guess there is more than one way of doing it.

What a hard thing to go through, miscarriages. Hard on a woman's health (and mentally too).
