I recently cracked a couple of ribs getting a broody off a nest. That's got to be worth some super stupid points.

I figured as much but I just did it so thought it wouldn't hurt to throw it out there as a pathetic way to injure yourself.

I collected some almonds from a couple of trees today. Last year I did more trees and got a couple of kilos (in case). I think I've got about a kilo this time (in case)
I hate shelling them. I use a hammer for the walnuts but the almonds don't respond so well to this technique.

It was a big FAIL at the DMV.
After waiting outside in the shade in line at about 20F temperatures for about 15 minutes, then another 20 minutes inside, the lady at the information desk informed me that the birth certificate that I had for DH was issued from the hospital, not the state of PA and that it also had to have the raised seal on it.
The other document I left at home is a registration of birth with no raised seal. Great.
They didn't issue birth certificates with raised seals until 1975.
We just put the application for a certified birth certificate in the mail. No way will we have it or the non-driver photo ID by Wednesday for the surgery. I'll have to call the hospital and explain what we have in the way of proof of identification and hope they will accept it.

Sorry about the DMV Dobie...those people are the worst! Hope the hospital will go along with the id your husband does have.

Hey all okay so I just pee my pants sneezing ... I understand about DVM I get just a id myself now cannot drive blind in one eye without perfect vision in good eye mines not quite anyway very painful if light hits either eye but worse in right so closed my eyes she took the photo
