A lot of the pines here are dying due to beetles. We have had quite a few fall over. Many just lean on other trees to become widow makers .

It's pretty serious here. The only realistic option is to cut the tree down, take the stump out and make a fire pit in the hole. Some pine species seem to fare better than others.
The pine trees are not much good for the chickens because there are not many low branches. They tend to grow and give canopy cover mostly. The really annoying thing is nobody wants the wood.

No doubt about that. We've got/had weird goats, sheep, donkeys, cats maybe, they didn't live long enough to tell because the dogs killed them. We've had weird rabbits, ducks, boar, dogs and the weirdest of all are the people.

I've had weird animals too and I still do. I'm sitting here watching my bearded dragon try to eat a fake plant he has been trying to eat for weeks Give it up buddy!

The Japanese beetles are insane at my house! They killed my gardens i gave up on gardening because of it.

You sound like my husband, he always needs a couple cups of coffee before he plays nice. Hes the sweetest man unless you catch him before his coffee
