Hi Meg, happy Thanksgiving to you too!

We're doing a turkey breast, potatoes & gravy, oyster dressing, some sort of vegetable and sweet potato pie. That should all make for some nice left overs (which is usually even better than the original meal ).

What are you doing today? Are you getting snow now? We're supposed to get more in the next couple of days...not that we need it!

I think mashed potatoes and gravy are my favorite part of Thanksgiving Definitely agree about the leftovers, too!

I'm thinking about making a cheesecake to take over to the in laws. We're headed there around noon. Will stop and get a paper so I can look through the black Friday ads all day, even though I never go shopping haha.

We are getting snow! There was about 6" and counting in town last night. Oddly enough, we only had a couple (we usually get more). I'm okay with that. 8° at the moment

I heard on the radio yesterday we got 18-22" of snow this past storm. Gearing up for part 2 starting tomorrow At least if we get snowed in, we won't starve

Obviously I suck at seams on pie, but I do know it's a dang good blueberry pie! My dad asks for it every year and he's picky.

@FortCluck the apple crisp made me remember my mom....she use to call it "oven door apple crisp", ...when removing it from the oven one time, she dropped it on the oven door. She just scraped it back into the dish. Thus, the name!
