BYC Café

Fort Cluck - that roo is a nice ,silver laced Sebright - they also come in gold laced.
I have a gold-laced Polish and she lost her sibling, I think it got lost in the woods because she returned two days later but her sibling wasn't with her... I got him to keep her company. So far she seems to really like him. He's making my beagle bay though, she doesn't like his crow :lau

Thank you IM, I'd like the diet coke if you don't mind. I usually get caffeine free but, I'm thirsty - because had to push the heat up higher. The upstairs gets way too hot 80F
the first floor is chilly, and the basement is downright cold. I wear a fleece lined flannel shirt with hood, and fleece lined jeans in the basement. Sometimes wrist warmers also.

Meg, love the way the chair turned out. Do I spy part of a doggy presence?? Maybe a
spaniel.
Thanks, Nancy! Yes, that's my Chickie buns. She's a blue heeler.

It looks great Meg! Nice work.
Thanks, DL! I think I'm going to have to repaint the frame. The white looks a bit stark and not matchy haha. Thanks for the coffee.
Good afternoon Cafe.
Thanks for the coffee DL. I didn't get my second cup this morning.
Sort mehhh weather here. Gray, not too cold though and rain looks possible.
Great transformation on the chair @Meg-in-MT .
Thank you, Shadrach!
Good morning Cafe!

Way too cold here this morning, I better make another pot of coffee. Woke up to -12*. Stupid weather :(

Meg, your chair looks great!

Dobie, hope the new prospective Dobie works out for you!
Thank you, Debby! I can't believe it's so cold. -12° is too much. Are you still getting snowed on? :(

Good morning Cafe. A large pot of coffee is ready. It's 24F out and we've got snow coming in tomorrow.
I got the okay at work to work as many hours as I want.
I have decided that I'm going to increase my hours from three 8-hr days to three 9-hr days.
But shortly after I got sick, I worked 10-hr days to make up the lost time. And they flew by. So this week I'm going to try that on for size and see if I can handle it. If I can, I'll let my supervisor know to put in for 30 hours/wk instead. By the time I get home from work and do my chores, there is never enough time to really get going on a project anyway so I may as well work and get paid.
Thanks for the coffee!

I hope the new work schedule works out well
