BYC Café

 Puppy mill! I'm glad she decided to give up the dogs.

And the former owner confessed she was going to breed her one more time but during the last C-section, a ligament let loose on the uterus.

Between the over breeding, terrible food, absence of exercise and socialization, I most certainly consider this girl a rescue.

Good morning, Cafe.
Warm and drizzling here today.
Adorably, the couple who is going to adopt Sarge texted me yesterday and asked me to send some pictures of him so the husband could show them to his parents! These people are my age.
He is in construction and he was really taking in the details of my coop. Both of them dropped their jaws when I told them I hadn't cleaned out the pine shavings on the coop floor since I moved the flock in on Easter Sunday. I just scoop the poop boards every morning and fluff the pine shavings. Something tells me part of their coop prep for Sarge is the installation of poop boards. They are currently cleaning their coop out every single week.
