Good morning cafe. I had to bring my computer into the office for repair. I've left my chickens in the care of a 10 year old. I'm a little nervous, but I can text him reminders.

We had a new freeway open recently, wonderful drive in today. No traffic, no sun in my eyes.

I'm sure he will do great. Great job giving his responsibility of something living! He will grow into an amazing man!

Morning! Thanks for the coffee. It has warmed up to 11F this AM and sunny.
I hope you all have a great day. I need to go reset the hay feeder in the sheep pen. Apparently they really wanted the crumbs...

She's still a little nervous. I've never had a dog display displaced nursing behavior before so I just looked it up and lo and behold, the Doberman is a breed known for a strong propensity for this behavior.

Oh my goodness, that's the cutest thing. Chick also does this. I thought she'd grow out of it, but she's almost 3.

@N F C too bad winter didn't make us all feel that pretty 23° last night and 7° this morning, but still no snow?? And supposed to be 49° on Saturday

@DobieLover , I'm glad you'll have Bella to keep you company at your dads house.

Hi FC, I noticed when I cracked my eyelids open at noon that it looks sunny. I took a sleeping pill last night since I slept so much during the day. Really need to get out and feed, water. Maybe even clean the dead plants out of my garden. Have a great day.
It does worry me that the plants think it is spring. Mums are sending up shoots, daffodils are coming up...and it will likely just freeze and kill the stuff off.
