BYC Café

My rosemary plant just died. :(

Oh no! :(

I can never seem to grow herbs. Don’t know why. I have bought a couple large basil plants before and they seem to do well but end up dying and forget about starting any herbs from seeds. They either don’t sprout or just die. :(

Don't work too hard.
Who made the coffee this morning...very good! Thank you!

Good news on the car. Quick fix for both the tire and the rough drive, so my little red volvo is good to go for a little longer. She has 145K miles and I want to driver her until the wheels fall off.

Couldn't sleep last night, so stayed up until the wee hours of the morning sewing on the order. Is there anyone on here in or near the DFW area that wants to earn some money sewing? Let me know via private message and I'll fill you in on what we do.

To add to the stress level, Dad needed to have pacemaker put in over the weekend. He is doing great! Mom will need to sit on him to keep down for the recovery time.

Our sunshine is gone again, but I need to be inside today so I won't complain, besides in a month or two we have have abundant sunshine, so I just need to be patient.

I've never tried to overwinter a pepper plant. I once tried with the basil plant but it died.
Basil is an annual so would not likely overwinter well if at all. Thyme is a perennial as well as sage so they will overwinter. Basil you have to start each year
