My work place announced that we are continuing to build cables, our supply chain is still running and we will do what we can to continue to meet production.
We have ceased all visits to the facility. If the customers need to interface, it will be done remotely.
HR is working with employees with young children if they need to flex their schedules to stay home with them due to the school closures.
The company has also distributed disinfectant wipes throughout and has requested that we all wipe down our work surfaces, mice, keyboards, etc. multiple times a day. There are hand sanitizer dispensers everywhere.
They are doing what they can for us. I have to keep going to work but I'm grateful that I only work three days a week and about 40% of my time there is with very few people still in the building.

Our restaurants are open for take out only. I intend to go once a week to our breakfast spot, Gigi's Place, to get our usual order and I'm tipping them too. I'm quite hopeful that with the coming warmer, sunny weather, that will help fight the virus too. I read an interesting article about the 1918 flu pandemic that basically concluded that the sickest patients healed faster with regular sunshine therapy.That's great that they are doing what they can to help you out.
