BYC Café

Thank you! Oh you have a wonderful array of birds.

@drumstick diva I noticed less smaller birds like the goldfinch last year. I did not plant sunflowers last year. Usually they feast on the seeds from my sorrel, but not last year.

I will try to put in a few sunflower seeds this year and see if that makes a difference.
They are loving the sunflower seeds!

My first time on the Cafe. Hello global poultry people!

Well we have had a record warm March and April is not much father behind. Still rainy, as usual. My daughter sighted a hawk in my yard yesterday. The old one must have died last year and a new one has come around.

Welcome to the Cafe. There's always a fresh pot brewed/brewing.

Good afternoon, Cafe. Made a fresh pot if anyone is in need.

Brought my girl to work today. It took her about an hour to settle down, it was a little stressful for her. It'll be good to get her out once in a while and in different surroundings.

Hello Hoping and Wishing.:)

Well, it did rain some more but not a lot thankfully.
Although I've had enough of the mud, I don't mind the rain. When I lie in my bed at night I can hear the water rushing down the flood gully beside the East field. It's just like listening to a river.
I'm going to have roses as soon as the sun comes out.

This Kumquat became pot bound and I transplanted it. It struggled badly for a few months but it's beginning to look like it will make it. The center died away.

This goosberry bush and one other planted in what is supposed to be an orchard is doing well. Nothing seems to bother them here.
