They are spreading out to the now much less polluted areas since the lock down began.Is anyone noticing a scarcity of birds? My redwing blackbird disappeared - don't even hear him anywhere. The mourning doves the same. The many sparrows that are usually all over the garage roof - gone. Even the one or two that looked in the kitchen window have disappeared. Only their poo poo remains.
The gold finches are AWOL, As are the cardinals we had all winter. Haven't seen the ONE robin that has been scratching around. We started March with many. I've thinking(hoping) they just moved back into the forrest preserves we have all around us.
