BYC Café

Apparently when I'd asked for help, his "NO" was supposed to be a funny joke.
he sounds pathetic. Some years back there was a TV show here about delinquent 'yoof' spending time in American boot camps for such people, where they spent weeks in a tough love environment, with lots of outdoor time and tasks whatever the weather, in a group with other people like them (so could see how irritating their attitudes and behaviour are!) and some VERY patient staff who kept them safe but challenged their thinking. Do such places still exist there? They transformed most of the UK youngsters who attended them in these programmes.

Good morning Cafe.
I've made a pot of coffee for the East coasters, the insomniacs and the early risers.
Dawn has happened again here. Pretty reliable that sun. If we didn't have clocks and watches it would come up at the same time every day.:p
Off to see what is rumored to be a lawyer today. Taking a calculator so I can count my fingers after the visit. Not going to take any money.:D
I might take the opportunity to do pick up a few things from the supermarket. Just had a look at my list and decided to strike Covid off it. Still, that's one less thing to carry home so it's all good.

Good morning Cafe. Thanks for the coffee Shad. Lawyer?
I didn't know you did yoga, Perris. That is something I always intended to try but never seem to find the time to start.
Sorry about the boy, Cindy. Shad pretty much nailed it on the myth about bad dads making bad boys. I've had the most wonderful boys out of Fabio, who I think is awesome regardless that he hates my guts and has flogged me in the past more times than I can count. And I would never discount the personality of the hen in the mix as well as the hen that does the rearing.
Back to work for me folks. But that's okay. I awoke to light rain this morning. I don't want to hang siding in the rain.

I went to trim the windows and door with white J-channel only to find it missing from my order. BIL and I went to Lowe's and Home Depot. Neither had any in stock. Great.
I'll call the building materials supplier in Binghamton when I get to work tomorrow and see if they have any.
Crap!! That's pretty much puts the siding on hold, eh?
Hopw you can find some pronto.

Do such places still exist there?
Yes, but they are very expensive...and probably shut down due to Covid.
