BYC Café

Well, let's see here. I got a whole lot of nuffin' done so far.. picked up debris from the trees.. The outer bands of H Delta knocked down more. Got all the 'kids' fed. Then started cleaning out the green house to winterize it for the ferns and such. Decided how to rearrange the chickens so I don't really have to build a lot more pens yet. Bruiser goes ----> OUT OF TOWN. Henri and his two ladies will go in the pen with Bruiser's two ladies (all the ladies are the same cross bred hens)... Henri's pen gets moved near the two hoop coops for the little ones in the brooder, orrrrr... one cockerel (BO) and his partner along with the two marans hens.. and the little ones can go in their hoop coop... etc... Oh, picked up another bucket of pecans.. Just more to shell on a cold winter day.

I've got 20lbs of apples chopped and boiling on the stove! Sheesh, that takes forever. It's sure smelling good now :drool

These apples have so many seeds.
If those apples are crips and a bit tangy, then they are pink ladies... my favorite now... Granny smith apples used to be larger than they are in the stores now. They were my all time favorite for pies, sauce. etc.
