BYC Café

Well, that photo was pretty! Sorry you guys are going into lockdown again. It is just so hard to get stuff done and then get rolling again once it all gets lifted. I am sure some sort of something will happen here too. How is that for side-speak!
I don't think it is a cold, I think just a reaction to the smoke.
We will need a pic or 2 when they are done hatching, please CS!

I leave my cart at Aldi, too! that would bother me as well. Aldi question:: mine does not have gluten free mac and cheese anymore near pasta section, and granddaughter misses her pumpkin cider--is this true at yours?
I wouldn't know. I'm Paleo so I don't eat pasta. I really only shop the perimeter of the store for produce, meats, frozen fruit, spices, oils, vinegars and nuts. I do also eat goat and feta cheese.

Have no shopping place here you pay to use a cart
You don't really pay to use the cart. You rent it. If you put the damn thing back where it belongs, you get your quarter back. It's a great way to keep the lazies from leaving the carts all over the parking lot or rolling them down to another store and ditching them when they are done. And it saves the store having to pay someone to collect carts and bring them back to the storefront.

I am up with a runny nose and stuffy nose, but I can still smell the smoke so probably not the Covid. ;)

It's probably the damn smoke causing it! I hope the fires come under control soon.

IKR! We have rules about certain things here @CSolis ! One of them is if you are going to start writing about a bunch of chicks, you need to post pictures of said chicks! We've been waiting.

Good morning Cafe and thanks for the coffee, Margie!
We've got frost, heavy fog and a fire in the stove this morning.
I've got a bit of clean up down at mom's house (metal run from there, dad's and my house to the recycler) and get my tools out and PUT AWAY!!! Then more organizing to make space for the building materials for my roof next week. I intend to fill the garbage can each week and start cleaning this place out.
As I've been working on other houses, my place has become a neglected mess.

Well Shucky durns... Here's the one in the brooder... one in the incubator is still too wet to get out, and he/she is waiting on hatch mates!

His/Her two siblings are in the 3 week old brooder now.
BTW, the one in the incubator has a lot of white on the belly... Hoo Hoo..

37 here this morning and first night with wood stove on last night
I would love to have a wood burning stove.. but not enough hardwood around my property to keep it going for long. Turned the heater on this morning to take the chill out of the house. Brooder room is nice and snuggly because of the heat lamp going.
