It's -1F this morning. I peeked in on the coop cam because the boys haven't made a peep yet. The chickens are not impressed with the weather.

Morning! I made more coffee. It is windy here, actually breezy, as we know that 50 mph is not windy. Must be a new person forecasting...
Congrats on the new puppy, Sour! Now you will have no reason not to have the coffee made and the bacon cooked by 6:00 am!

have they announced the details yet? Here social bubbles are limited to 2 households, all non-essential shops must close after trading on Christmas eve, all restaurants close after 6pm on Christmas day, and then from 28th to 2nd Jan even the essentials shops must be shut by 8pm... It's going to be a quiet Christmas and online only Jan sales spree here.

Here's your start. There is absolutely no way to enforce these restrictions, especially not at Christmas.

Note the discovery of a new strain. Viruses mutate. It's what they do. Why anyone should be surprised by this is beyond my ken.
