Grandson was eliminated from the state championships yesterday evening. An initial loss followed by two wins in 'wrestle backs', but then elimination. Princess says he handled it well. The upside, he can eat once again like normal people.

Sorry for the boy, Sir Sour, but still an awesome accomplishment. The weight maintenance always was the worst on those kids!
Glad you are able to get rid of the creatures though.

I never understood the starving before a match,
I say, If the other boys are drinking honey and dehydrating to get to a lower class, be the well nourished kid with energy! be in an upper class and whip the weak famished kids that dropped to your class.
The guys just told me I didn't know what I was talking about, but I remember them throwing up before weigh in.
That is inducive to a good match.

Good morning! Today is a busy one for us. Thing 2 is getting dropped off to spend the day with Grandma.
Thing 1, my princess, is going to get to see her first play, Beauty and the Beast. She is going to be all dolled up and hopefully princess belle will come out a bit so miss maam can see her (It is a small community play)
The last time we did something like this it was just a quick photo at a hockey game and her little eyes were filled with stars, so hoping this will be just as magical.

Much improved! Thanks for asking. Probably get to go home tomorrow, we hope. Still very weak and painful, but that will just take time. Pretty sure the major hurdles are over.
I'm fine, a bit exhausted, but got the best nights sleep last night in over 2 weeks!
