BYC Café

Yeah, I know, problem is the heat and not having good shade to keep her in.
So I hesitate to go there yet.
I find they really don't break well in the heat anyway.

Wish I could buy a replacement battery and/or driver exactly the same,
but it doesn't work like that. :(
What l kind is it? I can still get batteries on Amazon for a 7 volt DeWalt drill. It's pretty old.

barn swallows are always trying to nest in the darndest places and have to be removed
Mine nicely nest in the barn.

I could not believe how much the grass grew in the one week we were gone
I mowed on Tuesday, by yesterday the dandelions had 6" flower stalks that were almost bare of seeds. With the wind today I suspect they will be bald and shooting up more flowers after the rain.

Yeah, I'm thinking of giving her a cool water dunk during the high heat(87-88°) tomorrow and Tuesday.

18v Makita, at lest 10 years old.
Never been able to get a replacement batts, they change the size or slots, and they cost damn near as much as a whole new rig.
Pics from web, don't have the actual model number handy.

Morning all.. We do have wet again I am so tired of the drizzle and my arthritis doesn't like it either..
Before we moved the kid had a battery driver pretty nice one .. Neighbor broke in stole it but the battery was toast. Yes it would cost more to buy a replacement so left it..

Laughed when he stole it :celebrate

Good morning everyone!

Coffee is ready and - lo and behold! - some rays of rare sunshine at your disposal too! Yaayyyyyy!!! :wee

Still, it is very cold and wet for the end of May, my Peonies came to a halt showing only small buds instead of big fragrant bloom.
And stumbling across cold and dying bumblebees almost every day for the past few weeks is not fun.

Have a wonderful Whit Monday everyone!
