We got white stuff here this morning.....

My son sent me pictures of his campus covered in snow this morning.
I think it is the first real snow that has stuck around for him.
I hope he gets time to play in it a little bit.

BLECH -- they said the dreaded "S" word this morning on the forecast for the week --- I am refusing to acknowledge the possiblity. At least it isn't going to be much, but still...... I guess I'll take that over the winds we had over the weekend, lost my weeping willow, Eduardo (my mom bought it for me during a visit some years back because I had mentioned wanting one out by the pond, my old man kitty is buried under it, etc - so I'm feeling more upset than one should over a tree)

Good Morning...I need coffee and something. Either donuts or a shot...

Started on our taxes yesterday, because they need to be done. I knew we were going to owe something, but YIKES! A bit more than I was expecting. I guess the government needs their pound of flesh.

Yeah, should probably get our's finished up -- going to end up owing a little too, I realized when I looked at DH's W-2 that his deductions were off so they've not been holding out nearly enough..........

Sure! We'll serve you coffee for a day or two, before we make you get it yourself...

LOL, fair enough - had to smile reading that as growing up in a small town there was the main cafe where all the "coffee drinkers" would gather after morning chores and sit around a big table -- if/when other customers were in the building they'd often end up having one of the coffee drinkers come around giving refills of coffee because they were that at home in the cafe that they'd just get their own (and some for others)

 I used to cringe that parents would photograph this first and help their child after, but in this case, I could see myself saying, " Hold it, I have to get my camera!."

Lol I always figure a little longer discomfort makes for a better teacher then i. Now I say this assuming they are only uncomfortable, not actually hurt

We have that at the town I grew up in too. They call it the CAVE for Citizens Against Virtually Everything
