Here in Texas they are getting ready to amend the state constitution to make it known that we the people of the great state of Texas will maintain our right to hunt and fish as a means to feed our families and that hunting and fishing is and will remain the first choice and best solution for game and wildlife population control.

Might sound extream to some, but in an america that continues to grease the squeeeeking wheel, I believe it is a step in the right direction.

Population management has always been controlled with killing. It just used to be bears, wolves, and cats that managed the populations of prey. Now it is humans. And as long as we follow the appropriate seasons for hunting, we do it in a much more humane way then other predators.
ETA: I think Texas is showing good foresight.

I get my allergy shot increases on Thursday mornings and the rest of the day for me is just plain weird.

Good Morning everyone. Glad to see we are all in agreement that deer(and other animal) population should be managed...for the health and well-being of said animals. I DO NOT understand why the PETA people don't get this. Rant over.

I was thinking of baking some cookies or bread today. Maybe Scott will smell them baking and come looking for a sample!. It's worth a try!
