It did work!!I've got saplings everywhere in the fields and yards.
Thinking about whacking them......probably won't work.
They are tenacious root spreaders.We get a lot of sassafras sprouts in one area too. Love the smell when I string trim that area.

Had them send enough roots to plug my septic inlet a few years ago.
Was a pleasant odor digging up the pipe to fix, not what I expected to smell.
Sprinkled copper sulfate in a slit all around the tank to stop that nonsense,
should probably reapply this year.
