BYC Café

Joe's emergency repair ended up taking until 3 to finish and he was a bit over an hour away so he wasn't able to come back today. He's coming over at 7 tomorrow morning.
I futzed around for a couple of hours then gave up and put everything away and instead dug out the site and poured a concrete pad for the pond pump.
After cleaning up from that I cut the grass in the chickens pen. After dusk. Can't wait to see what that looks like in the morning...

French fries?
Ummm,
No
;)

Yesss! I'll cling on for a while...
Wow, what a great quad strengthener. I wonder how hard it is to get the weight to move to the other leg.

Yeah, half of the price is the battery, it seems!
Yeah, they sure are. I have some DeWalt tools. The drill came with 2 small batteries, I later bought a 5AH battery and "tool only" impact driver and 18 gauge brad nailer. No sense getting the "whole package" with yet more small batteries. It is sad that one can buy a new drill with 2 small batteries for little more than 2 slightly larger batteries and no tool.

Of course not!!!
I think you need to cull that neighbor and get a new one.

But I remembered something important when I was scratching my head last night.
I do that. Always best to ponder a good bit over a period of time. I've always been happy that I didn't just rush through and do "plan one" without an EC or two.

Good morning Cafe. Coffee is ready.

I'm out running the dogs now before I cook something to eat and go pick up DH. Joe is coming over and bringing one of his sons to work on the room without me today. After tomorrow we have about a week straight of rainy weather. Which we desperately need. I hope the tarps keep the water out of the house! It's always nerve-racking when you've chopped your eaves off and any water that can get past the tarps on the roof is going to go straight into your wall.
