Well DH future as a Televangelist might be in jeopardy. The chick finally died. Really just as well, as long as he was hanging on, I felt I had to try. Not w I can just give it up and go on with day.

And I was already prepared to donate.

Hey, guess what? It is snowing! Stacked hay, stacked wood, made brownies, cooking corned beef so we can just munch and I will make coffee before bed. Animals fed and watered and I covered my plants with logs and fence so maybe they won't get smashed flat. Tonight we will park the vehicles at the bottom of the driveway
DS# has a c. diff infection so DH is getting the prescription before he heads up into the hills.
Boy, I sure hope that we don't get 4 feet of snow!

that DS# caught this infection (we all know where that came from, don't we!!

) but glad that y'all were on your toes and got after it quickly; praying that this clears up quickly and the rest of his recovery is uneventful.

Offhand, I don't think there's much point in hauling him to Nebraska so OFW's hubby can touch him.

Well at least she is one of the closer out of all of all of you. But seeing as the chick did die, I don't know that we should count on him to improve anything......But for four easy payments of $19.99 We are willing to try

We will put it in the slush fund, which is about 3 inches and growing...
DS is feeling way better today than the last couple of days and that is without meds. So I am thinking with meds, he should be able to regroup quicker.

Good morning...I've got the coffee going and the muffins out.

Dogs are insisting on getting up earlier every day. Mom is NOT impressed. Izzy caught a mouse last night and left it on the rug for me to find. I don't know if I should be happy that she's earning her keep here or upset that there was a mouse in the house. At least she does something, unlike the 20 year old wretched excuse of a cat that yowls in the hallway at 5:30 am because he wants his breakfast. Seriously, it is time for him to go....sigh, but he is DS's cat...
