No hornworm on mine but hey no red tomato either..
My garden is like almost a month behind. We planted so late out here it was so wet.

I've never had hornworms. Lots of aphids and squash bugs this year.

Can kill aphids with a 10 parts water to 1 part dawn of in a spray bottle.

Hey good morning Cafe.. Was gone all yesterday first shopping since Covid.
@CapricornFarm the little one have you ever given sugar water ?

They all seem to be drinking from Mom, and i want them to get as much colostrum as possible. I often give a bottle of goat electrolytes if needed.

I stayed until 10:15 at my sister's last night for our Labor Day barbecue rain date. I did run home at 6:00 to feed the dogs, install fascia, bring in the laundry, lock up the chickens and drop DH off at home before going back.
The forecast called for it to start raining at 6:00 this morning and have light rain throughout the day today with thunderstorms tomorrow. I hadn't cut the grass in over a week for the main lawn and it's probably been over 3 or 4 weeks since I've touched the chicken pen. So this morning I got up fed the dogs, fed the chickens and then hopped on the tractor and got all the grass cut before even getting my first drop of coffee into my body. I think that's impressive in and of itself!

Thanks for the coffee. It is 32F on my porch and there is a thick frost on my car,
I think most of the gardening is done for the year.
Two days of wonderful nourishing rains down the drain. Sigh...

@DobieLover - impressive indeed, but no surprise.

Mowed the front lawn yesterday in anticipation of the rain today. The back can wait until rain stops. It's really not very long. Today we were supposed to go to a Polish festival in Pa, but that is starting to appear unlikely because of the rain.
