A Sat. call for a plumber can't be good...

Worse than we thought. We have a huge leak under half of the house. Guy wasn't prepared so he's coming back with a helper. Meanwhile, I'm trying not to put anything down the drain...

Man, It is almost 8 PM there, yes? I sure hope they can get it fixed soon as he gets back with the helper.

Thanks for the coffee! One of my book group friends has covid. I brought her a care pkg
yesterday and I am making her check in with me a few times a day. I even slept with the phone by my bed, . She is elderly and lives by herself but is healthy overall.
I notified my paramedic neighbor in case I need to call 911 because there is still a covid response protocol for that. I tell ya... these mountain people are stubborn! And a Hoot!

I've been awake since 3:00 and gave up trying to get back to sleep at 5:15. Fed the dogs and when it was light enough out went out and took care of the chickens and then decided to get that bottom drain set. It came out good.

Do you have a temporary cover for the BD while you sort the rest of it out?


Was thinking yesterday about putting way all the broody crates then found a lounger(hopefully) in a nest late afternoon....hopes dashed, brooding at lock up, into the crate she went. SMH.

All stocked up on most stuff before the big road construction out front starts tomorrow.
Am real curious to see how they will handle the traffic.
Could be a real PITA getting in and out of here.
Time will tell.
