Waiting for the rain they say is coming. But with every forecast, they're toning down the amount.

Looks like you had some go over when I looked at the radar this morning.
It's mostly all north of me, tho it feels like rain out there.

Good morning! Foggy, cool 45F, and drizzle with rain later. Rain yesterday, last night, ... I feel like we will have a fire going in the stove by this evening just to get the chill off. One can only drink so much coffee and tea.
The BBQ was fun! No meds needed and the children wore us out!
We were up early though to see DS$ and GF off to NE because he has to now help with the college team's youth wrestling camp. He had a great time helping with his old HS's youth camp. It is all good practice!

It's raining. Has been for several hours. Nice, steady, gentle rain.

Yes, the bugs -- mosquitoes! -- will hatch. Yes, the weeds will grow. I can deal with those. I'll complain about the bugs, but oh well. They are better than the lack of rain.

We got a bit too, sounded and smelled nice, but yeah not enough to do much...probably not even enough to register on a rain gauge.

Same here, not a whole lot of rain yet. But it did cool off and dampen the plants.

Good morning Cafe... Coffee is on. It was a long hard day yesterday. We had a mass stranding of the species I study, long-finned pilot whales, just over an hour away. Eight perished and there are a number of them still swimming offshore at risk of stranding. The area is a bit of a "whale trap" and it's not the first time they have stranded there.

Nice rain last evening and night.....not much accumulation tho.
More forecast for tomorrow. Still nice and cool for the next week.

Finding more indication that the raccoon I saw in the last week or so is still around.
Some scratches on the coop shed siding(which may be older), some fresh flaking from delamed siding(have seen this before), both around the main door.....
..... and mostly a rather large clump of scat on the shade cloth this morning.

Glad coop is Fort Knox.
