Was a loverly cool and raining off and on day...probably got about 3/4" total.
Now the sun is out and it's steamy as hell, guess it could be worse if the temps were higher, but still.

Deciding whether to let the brooders out or not, after their second 48 hour crating.
Think I'm gonna leave them another 24.

No, i didn't groom show terriers. I did groom my Shelties and Belgian sheepdogs for show.

Good afternoon! I've been MIA with my birthday on Friday and then setting up our pilot whale field season for the summer. Happy to see the garden growing well. I did finally get a few ranunculus to bloom - they don’t take well to our climate that goes from freezing cold to boiling right away.

I pulled some weeds in the garden. I was as wet as if it had rained on me. Pants binding on my knees when I'd bend.

Tomorrow will be laundry day, for sure. I'm almost out of socks and my lightweight pants are all dirty with garden dirt. Or chicken dirt from when they get up on my lap.

I'm really enjoying having lap chickens, though. The Bielefelders were all on me at the same time today. They're 7 weeks old now, so it won't be too much longer and they won't all fit at the same time. I'm treasuring it while it lasts. Just like when a puppy fits on your lap. You know it won't last.

It's hot and sticky out. Supposed to rain later. I got the dogs out for about an hour and now I need to get chicken feed and finish tiling the shower stall. Yesterday was a total bust work wise. I just didn't have it in me.
