Why doesn't a few of the congregation buy a party tent (10x30 or larger) then donate it to the church? That way there will be a tent already and one less expense for when the church needs more room. Plus the tent can be used for other activities/events that the church holds.

I keep thinking that the church used to own one...... not sure what happened to it......

Back to work for 2 days then off Friday to go with M&S to meet a Dobie they are considering adopting. Bella and Piper will come to make sure they all get along.
I'd been trying to convince them to adopt and not get a puppy and I'm glad they are looking at this guy again. They met him last weekend and really like him. Big (chubby) red boy. Bella will be terrified at first. She is of any dog her size or bigger.

His name is Jumanji. They don't like that. I suggested Knox. Some name will fit him if they adopt him.

Afternoon Cafe ! Did you know it costs 160.00 to replace a screen
on a current samsung galaxy phone.
We are mid 70's foreseeable future.
Much preferred to 90's we had been having.

I had to replace my screen already, and this one doesn't work along the top1/4" of the screen. So i have to tlit the phone to get the controls where i can use them all the time. Pia.

My new goat buck. Hopefully he will keep growing for a while. He is quite small.

All you need for your magical brew (coffee, tea, hot chocolate) is right next to the coffee pot so fix a cup and enjoy the quiet of the morning while your eyes fully open. I've been up since 2:15 (due to the dogs) so I'm on my 2nd cup. I have a doctors appointment later this morning so wish me luck (and NOPE I'm NOT looking forward to it at all- I despise these kind of doctor appointments but understand that these kind are "mandatory" to make sure all is well with me). ONE MORE DAY UNTIL THE WEEKEND!!!
@Alaskan it could have rotted and no one has replaced the canopy or the frame could have somehow got bent or it might have been misplaced (or completely forgotten about). Maybe a scavenger hunt for the tent should be in the making .

M&S were not completely certain they were ready for a new dog and discussed it at length. All their feelings about Shadow and how they feel about this new boy. They've decided we are on for the trip tomorrow. Even with all I have to do before I leave for vacation, I am looking forward to joining them to meet this dog and hopefully he will become a new family member for them.

Yesterday was DHs 70th birthday. I bought a little cake for us to "share". I ended up giving about 3/4 of it to the staff to enjoy after we were done with it.

I left a message with the administration office yesterday and no one called back. I asked at the nurses desk where the offices were and told them why I wanted to know. I said that if something isn't done to help DH with his neck and that he wasn't better cared for I would be submitting a complaint of neglect to the State.
I will be calling the Admin office again today.
