BYC Café

Good morning all, thanks for the coffee slept in late yesterday cut my finger on the jig saw before lunch. Put some band aids on it when the wife came home she saw it was still open. She took me to the ER and I got two stiches.
Yes both my wife the the female doctor made comments about men being hardheaded. I said if it didn't stop bleeding by today I would have went in. Naturally it's the right index finger, and hurts like the dickens.
Today it's a cool 60 and rainy so I'll be in most of the day reading and researching about what to use for deep litter.

Used to is right. After reading about the log splitters and fire wood posts I wish I had had one the winters that I cut and hauled fire wood to a lot of customer. Swinging a jarring wood splitting maul over and over again possibly might be a cause for so much trouble with my shoulders now. I didn't mind so much splitting the ash and oak but that knotty hickory took wedges and a sledge hammer.
Yes. One we were young and invincible, now we are old a creaky and crabby and in pain.

And they are correct seeing how I remember 3 years ago FH (who at that time was just boyfriend) got stung by a BEE and we wasn't that far from an ED at that time but did he go right then NOPE waited until later that night when he really started having an allergic reaction and the doctor and nurse both agreed with me and told him he should have came in sooner like as soon as it happened.
