BYC Café

Friday October 13th 1995 was the day my father blew his brains out.
Tho he was a miserable depressive, alcoholic, drug abuser who had a traumatic childhood and war, we had known for years that he didn't want to end up hooked to machines and he took that off the boards, his choice/control.
It was both a horror and a relief, but still haunting.
Not looking for sympathy, just needed to 'verbalize' it.

Good morning and thanks for the hot coffee! It is 25F out there.
Sunny and no breeze, unlike yesterday with the breeze bringing in some flurries around noon.
DS$ and one of his roomies are coming for a visit this weekend. He actually asked to deliver some wood and cut trees down! We will be having spectacular fall weather to add to the background scene. :lau
Hugs to ya, Cafe!

Good morning, all thanks for the coffee I'm on my third cup and finished my loco moco. My finger is so much better the tip doesn't hurt but for a day and half where the injected it with numbing hurt bad. My DW takes good care of me, something I'm not use to, I've always been the rescuer or care giver. My sons birthday was yesterday, so wish I could rescue him from his own mother my ex. He turned 28 and she has made him feel obligated to take care of her no matter what.
I hope everyone has a beautiful Friday and please have a blessed day.

They don't want to have to sit there and do it.
Or are short staffed and don't have the time. That is true where my FIL resides.
But my MIL goes over several times a day so she can alert the staff if there is a need.

What you don't understand is the next the physicians will not be able to suture the cut as it may be infected.

The sooner you get there the less likely you will have an infection.
I understand very well, did you see the ;) on my post? I figured that was nicer than a :smack:D

He did seem happy tapping his feet and hands along with the music he was listening to. Even said a couple of words of lyrics which I thought was amazing. How do you forget everything else in your life but you can remember the lyrics to a song?

The 'Music for the brain' project is fascinating.
