Grrrr....I need more coffee! I just dropped an ENTIRE pan of brownies on the floor. It was a race between me and the dogs who was gonna get them. And it wouldn't be so bad, except I am making these for a bridal shower, and I'm being paid. So....another pan is in the oven.

Condolences on the brownies.

I had him move rocks for the landscaping project. I got the point and say please job, he and his dad got the "oof -grunt -watch my foot'' Job.

So... I kind of accepted the rocks as they landed. One rock is perfect, the rest need tweaking... but they are pretty big rocks so I will just make do until someone invents the windgardium leviosa spell for real.

I got some landscaping done today. It looks so good. I have lots more to do, but I am again back to the point and say please part. A friend came and helped me and she had some good ideas...and all I need is a wee bit of encouragement and The Project List lengthens.


..sometimes I feel sorry for my husband, but not for very long. I get over it quickly.

Hope you share some photos of your project...would love to see them. Of course, they will make me green with envy but that's ok. I like green.

Vegas is wonderful in the spring or fall

- eta, especially if/when traveling from a cold location. I made a trip in February from the cold, snowy mountains of Idaho and it was HEAVEN!

Yeah, the following 2 trips were made in the fall and it was tolerable. It was around the last trip when I began to wonder if the ex didn't have a gambling problem. Knew it for sure when I divorced him and surprise, we were almost 30K in debt. Live and learn.

The coffee is phenomenal this AM! We also successfully baked and ate a pan of brownies this past week. We have heavy rains predicted today/ tonight, grrrrr. I have got to get these meatie chicks out of the house. They smell a bit more than layer chicks, maybe because I have 25, but they are also growing and eating twice as much twice as fast!

Isn't there a 3 second rule about things that fall on the floor? If they have co-mingled with dust bunnies, I will dump them. Even I have standards.
