I'd like to know that myself I thought maybe a chicken breed "Pink Lamington " - or would that be a lamb?

Lamb on a hot date? The whole grandkid bit.....
Anyway

Fed the chickens and fed the ants today. Their minions have been hit hard by the chicken invasion and so now I am thinking that with their workers decimated, they will just take what is easy to feed to the queen to rev up their numbers and so, I fed them a very Special Diet. Chickens get to stay in for a couple of days.....
Now I am off the weed the lake....

Good morning everyone, about ready for coffee #2 here.

I heard a tree fall earlier this morning. Once it gets light out, I need to see if it was one of ours or a neighbors. Falling trees happen around here more than I like, it especially happens when you get as much rain as we have had lately. One time we were driving home from town and came across two different areas where trees had fallen across the road and they were diverting traffic to clear them up. Another time, one fell on top of some poor soul who was driving to work. We have beautiful large areas of trees in this part of FL, but they can be a problem.

On a lighter note, have any of you seen this YouTube short, "Trees Hate You"?

we also have huge trees, and last night the lightenning was so bad and the thunder actually rocked the house at one stage. I think I am going to get my big pine chopped it was swaying badly and I don't think they have a great root system, and I am sure if it falls on the house the ins won't pay they will find a away out of it.

On another note, I heard from the daughter she went to a whiskey tasting paired with truffles YUK YUK but whatver floats your boat - hope the hair does it lol.. Have a lovely day, cold here today so could do with one of your nice coffees. lol

The cookies I baked at the bait shop we gone in two days, so it looks like I will be back next week. This is kind of exciting.

Scott, the house is moving along , basement floor will be poured Monday. We are hoping for some rain here, our road is turning to dust! I will post some basement pictures later today...
