Glad to hear from you - yes, wondered what was going on. I think most of our lives are 90% ordinary days - if we are lucky. Missed you too.

Hey Krista!

Ordinary is good. There is a calm to ordinary.
I am doing better today. I started a project so I have something to focus on that I would rather do.
Diva is right, house work won't work. It keeps your hands busy but not your brain, so I am knitting my Kid some hats and scarves to keep him warm for when he first experiences snow.
I only have one child, so It seems...empty.

On our way back through Pennsylvania we bought a 1/2 bushel of apples and 1/2 bushel of peaches. The idea was that I would come home and hit the ground running and make jams, jellies, pie fillings, and the like.
But they are so good we decided it would be a crime not to eat them fresh. So my plan to keep me busy failed.
I did decide that I could stop cooking after the boy left home, so it is a good thing I have a refrigerator full of fruit or the hubby would starve.
(I did make chili last Sunday.. he can eat on that for another week

Eggsy, whenever I wanted to cook for my son, he ran off to some fast food place. I finally put my foot down - if HE goes, he has to take ME. Sometimes I've been known to sit in the car for hours waiting for him to get hungry.
