Noaa said it was 37 when the dog asked if she could please go out.
I said no.

She has discovered our above ground pool. (It is a cattle trough that we snazzied up. It has a deck, and a heater, and filter..). but the golden had not gotten up the courage until a couple of days ago.
It's too cold for me to be showered with doggie sprinkles this morning.

Not sure how to break her of that.
Glad we have tile.

my duck dog Bisket did not shake, until I told him to.

I always made sure I was infront of him, while my duck hunting buddies were on the side of him.......

great early morning fun, when it's 30 degrees out side......lol

My dog is also named Biskit.
I plan on taking her to obedience training after her brain finishes coming in.
I had animal science with this girl whose dad trained hunting dogs. He said the first year belonged to the pup the rest belonged to him.
I liked that.
I am giving the golden two years because she is a big sack of goofy.

3good eggs

you can get allot of basic stuff down in the first year.....allot of it will appear like play, to some folks, but it's the basis of their hunting training.

2 years is a long time to go with an 80# puppy with no training.
