BYC Café

Morning everyone, glad you enjoyed the fresh bread and roasted coffee. I have a new favorite, it's called Badak Rhino from the Sumatra region. Mmmm.

OFW, I'm so sorry for poor little Thing 2! That's some nasty scratches! I have ZERO years of rooster experience but I have done research. The Bielefelders are supposed to be the gentle of gentlest Roos. I'm getting one in April and sure hope it pans out!

Good Morning Deb BB

The way you talk about fresh roasted coffee has me wondering if I should maybe try it?
Good Luck with your new Roo! let us know how it goes.

I shudder when I see that kind of wiring. I just know there is or has been at least 1 if not more 'an almost fire' spot if all of that was looked at carefully.
Be careful that old stuff can get brittle and break apart when you start moving it around.

I converted an old dirt floor shed into a duck pen...years ago the electricity quit working in there. Because I didn't really use it I never fixed it.
When I decided to wire it. I hit the breaker and the lights came on.....after searching I found a burnt spot in the wiring.......(not my wiring job)......it wasn't because of a bad wiring job though just old exposed wires that started crumbling.

After my lovely day off I now have to head out to be a housekeeper.

We've had a wonderful housekeeper here for 6 years and yesterday was her last day. I've known it's been coming for a month so it's my own fault that I don't have another housekeeper hired.

I just HATE hiring! Even more than I hate firing!! But if you get the hiring right, you don't have to deal with the firing. Ugh, off to clean a 5 bedroom lodge and a 24 bed dorm...along with the 6 bathrooms!

It's all coming out, and will be replaced with romex, junction boxes, and conduit where it goes through the coop part of the shed.
