WVchick, how are the girls?
was it cocci?
Hope all is well.
Stopping in for an evening cuppa Joe! It is chilly out there and a bit of rain, but I got my horse shod before it really came down, so all is well.
That little guy has a phenomenal personality to go with his looks. He wants to follow and check everything out. A classic example of, "Do not get him used to anything that you would not want a 200 lb animal to do, like sit in your lap...." So far, we have been very good, but I just want to pick him up and hug him....."and you will be my friend for life!" kinda thing......
I am sure the other ones will settle a bit when they are as old as he is. His brother has huge legs. I think it will be fun when the breeder can teach me the breed points to look for. They will keep their markings and the wool will darken with age. not get lighter as a lot of horses do.
A very good point!
Congrats Margie!!!

Not really sure yet. I basically just found some mustard-yellow poo droppings, and maybe I panicked, but I did run out and get medication. Plan to investigate more this evening, then decide what to do. All the chicks "seem" fine, so keep your fingers crossed!
cecal poo?
Cocci is clear and watery isn't it?
I don't know.
I hope all is well. Do they look lethargic or blecky?
(That is a technical term)
