Thank you for remembering though! It was Friday, but we kinda celebrated all weekend. Even the weather was fairly cooperative!

LOL - DH is hassling me about using "But it's my birthday..." for making excuses for things. He always responds - Your birthday was yesterday". Doesn't he get the concept of a birthday weekend? (The brat.)

I thought that once you reached a certain age you could celebrate your birthday for extended periods of time. Apparently not - the Princess agrees with your husband. Spoil sports.

Sour, what kind of fool do you take me for? Everyone knows plants don't have mouths and can't speak.

Dang right they do. I can still remember backing into a Pampas Grass plant to put pine straw around its base, and having it drape a leaf over my right ear. I heard a reedy voice whisper, "move, or you lose it."

what did he get you for your birthday?

We don't really do presents. But I got a dozen yellow roses, went out to both breakfast and dinner and went to the SW Antique show. Had a lot of fun, even though I've still got the air cast on so it limits the running around a bot.
