I've made danishes before.. so delicious! But they are gone so fast, it feels like the hours spent folding and chilling almost aren't worth it. Almost. The way a real Danish melts in your mouth, oh, it's like the king of pastry. Is that Apple filling?

Good Morning Tuesday! And peoples too...! I would love to visit the places where you guys all live. I haven't been to many places in the US, and most of the places have been we're boring, except Disney World, but I'm not sure I need to do that again. Or you could all come visit me....

So i learned a few things while making the Danish...I will do this again, probably soon, they are just too good not to! One batch makes two dozen, if I cut them to what I feel is a reasonable size, rather than the recipe (too big). And so far I have made them with a cream cheese and fruit filling...raspberry, blueberry, cherry, and apricot. I'll be doing Apple next.

A bit overcast today, but I must continue with my project list. And bake some cookies, it's been a while...

Morning! No snow!

DS# moving up to Fort Collins today. I think his friend is very excited to be "back out on his own" for the first time since the wreck. I am happy that this will work out nicely for the both of them.

Had to look twice, my eyes skipped right over the "two" up there and "the pots" is how DH/FIL/DS refer to marijuana around here -- it's so weird to see it EVERYWHERE around here since it's legal, and they have a lot of fun making fun of it.

*sigh* she looks filthy (anybody know of a fly spray that dirt won't stick to? ) and there's that jungle that used to be a vegetable garden in the background. . . . But here's Syd, being helpful.

Good morning everyone. Weather is typical UP weather, cold and rainy on Saturday, and now we are back to sunny and gorgeous. And for whatever reason, I am always extra busy at this time of the year. I made Danish this weekend, the dough is very labor intensive, but sooooo worth it. Today I need to plant some more mums and try to enjoy this beautiful weather....and maybe make some cookies! Have a great day everybody.

PS and I promise I will get the chocolate cake recipe up soon!

Your busy this time of the year because everything is coming in my wife had been canning non stop.... the fact that I have 72 tomato plants probably causes that. I've been really sick lately I got some bronchitis kind of thing going on my asthma's and Full Tilt spasm. I had three seriously bad breathing episodes sodes over the weekend finally went to the doctors and they put me on high doses of Medrol but I still can't breathe. My breathing is so bad on the weekend my fingers started to turn gray. But I'm hoping when I wake up tomorrow morning I feel much better this is the worst cold I've had in awhile. And I mean a long long time. Hope everyone else is good talk to you later

I had what was called walking pneumonia (I didn't walk so well) 2 times and know somewhat the feeling of not being able to breathe.
That scared the crap outa me. i feel for anybody with breathing issues.

This time of year 'no snow' is a good thing in my book
