Evenin' chicken friends, didnt check in this AM as I wanted to get a super early start. Unfortunately, ran into some obstacles and didnt get anything done on the coop build. I just got called out of work for tomorrow though so if the weather is decent Ill get out there tomorrow.

we dont' have snow, but manys the time I have had to send the kids back in for shoes, in Jan/Feb.......

If it was warmer it wouldn't be a big deal at all! But ya, frostbite is a real possibility here, though we were no where near that today!

I hope he never finds this out or he'll have something to hold over your head for years!

Dont beat yourself up. Stuff happens. Gave me a good chuckle this morning. If if makes you feel any better one day a few months ago my DH called me from work laughing hysterically because he looked down under his desk and noticed he had on one tan shoe and one black and he's a grown man. He had to sneak out at lunch and buy a matching pair

Well, with an inquisitive toddler I'm pretty sure poop will happen

. So far we've been lucky. And right now all the poop is frozen!
