I got a pkg. of Dove last Thursday . I think it was called Caramel cashew - only 3 in a box and they went to fast I didn't know I ate them. I always check the garbage to make sure there is an empty carton. I think I would know if I ate them all. I was still hungry so ate a pint of Ben & Jerry's that was on clearance. I didn't like the flavor at all - so I know those calories didn't count.

So many flavors of ice cream and so little money. The week before they had B& J clearance on something that had a cheesecake core. THAT was delicious.

I've made a weird discovery about ice cream bars, the smaller the size the higher amount of calories. Ridiculous - you have to eat all three to feel somewhat satisfied. Then you find out you had more than a day's recommended total of calories. No wonder I never liked math.

My mother and her sister sneaked back to their motel room to eat them in peace but forgot to close the window blinds. There they were happily munching away on these huge face-sized ice cream bars...with the door locked while my cousin, sister and I stood with our noses pressed to the window watching.

Dove Bars have certainly decreased in size since then. But they're still so darned good and sneak-worthy.

DS$ doesn't know yet, just got the word, HE IS IN! Off to the Olympic Developmental Freestyle/ Grecco Camp, he is. B-day present of all B-day presents in his world, it is. Of course, I just paid for another summer camp but what the heck, chop more firewood, sell more (a) sheep, eat more chicken, whatever!

The day is looking up, not that it was looking down by any means, but........

That is OUTSTANDING!!!! Hope he has a fabulous time!
