@Mtn Margie Sap will spoil, like milk. "Shelf" life all depends on what part of the run it's from (early or late in the season), temperature it's stored at, container it's stored in....So what happens if it is not fine? Fermentation? Mold? What is with the sap that you need to process immediately? Sounds like roadkill in TX has a longer shelf life!
An hour ago we had a 65 mph gust, now.... dead calm, back up to a very slight breeze. Whatever. I am baking bread and cleaning/ organizing today so it can do what it wants to out there.![]()
I love pulled pork, and would love to try maple-rum cake. I have to go easy on the rum though, I am a cheap drunk - just smelling it and I get giggly and lose my austere presence.
