We're planting snow seeds today. The drifts are growing nicely.

the only thing I will be putting in the ground this year, will be three different types of okra, and a first for us, kikinda gourds.

right now, have all of the raised beds growing bush and pole beans and pickling, and eating cukes, and the squash are in the mineral tubs.

this weekend, I will build a gourd tunnel, for the kikinda's, and plant them.....provided the weather cooperates.

we got lucky this year, I hope, with a mild winter, and early spring......oh yeah, need to get my trellises up for all the cukes and pole beans.

dangit, need to finish a new raised bed, built from salvaged cinder blocks, concrete n the hole s, dirt and compost to fill, this one is 5'x8' Sounds great! Trying to convince DH to do a big one with several raised beds. The problem is the only sunny space we have is a massive side yard and my DH thinks it will look awful to take up yard with a garden. I say we have enough water wasting green lawn and to put that space to a better use. He's thinking the neighbors wont like it either. Hey, its not like we're putting it in the front yard. Its nice to think of gardens when 2 feet of snow is falling.

Just got back from the vet; someone is sleepy. She did a great job, and charmed everyone. She weighed in at 8.9 pounds, so I think I'm going to increase her food a little. And her hip is sore from her shot, she can't seem to get comfortable and cries ( which is really cute,I'm sorry!)
