I do believe spring is on its way

Right?? :celebrate
My place feels like mid-march right now, but even the 14 day forecast has the temps hovering just above freezing. This week is gorgeous! It's absolutely perfect weather for maple syrup.
Though the weather network are saying there's a good chance for spring-time winter storms. But we'll just ignore them for now

I hope the pain is better soon!

I just went out to the barn. No new babies yet. She is not even in the nest box so maybe tonight.
I painted the small piece of plywood and the roof, a second coat. One more coat on the flip side and i will be ready for assembly. Dreary, drizzly day. Sun tomorrow!

I don't mind springtime storms much because I know that the snow won't stick around long. Our forecast for Mar 11 is +8!!! celebrate.gif

So, I've got my chanteclers in a closed off section of my porch. The roos are known to be quite deadly to each other if there are hens around, so I can't put them into the coop. Anyhow I'm enjoying having them there because I can watch them more. Yesterday the hens laid their eggs and then the roo went into the nesting box and sat on the eggs. He did it again this morning. Is this normal?

I mind springtime storms because of subsequent tornado warnings.

Which reminds me- got off the senior bus, to discover a long downspout laying on the ground. Well it did stay up for 48.5 years.:barnieNot looking for anymore bills though :hit
