Dairy Queen soft serve ice cream puts me in mind of the old mellorine ice cream. It was always soft even when frozen. I don't know that they even make it anymore.

I don't think DQ is really ice cream, but my DH would disagree.

I don't think it is either. I think it's edible oil. But I don't care... skor blizzards are the bomb

I love McDonald's hot fudge sundaes!

Also my friend is obsessed with Tillamook ice cream and ice cream in general but they don't have it in Chicago (where he's from) I guess so every tour they go on, it's a given he WILL find Tillamook and he WILL post pictures or tweets about it

I drove past a DQ 2x today and didn't stop even 1x! I was so proud.

I think i even surprised myself! But i just had a big supper and didn't need a sundae.

I'll eat soft serve if nothing else is available. But, it's not even close to ice cream.

I've heard Tillamook ice cream is delicious especially "mud slide," but available I think in California and maybe areas around it. I've never seen or heard of avail otherwise.

I never "need" a sundae but "want one". I make sure to put rest of dinner serving in doggy bags/containers at a restaurant and then ask for dessert menu. You can reheat dinner fixins but, cold ice cream won't stay cold long.
