I've also got a young cockerel named Treacle who for the lack of available, or friendly hens is taking his amorous drive out on my boots. Fortunately I don't belong to the hysterical 'kill the rooster' brigade who would obviously consider his behavior as a show of dominance and good grief, we wouldn't want any behavior like that from a rooster.
The problem is he is following me about. This means he has to venture into the territory of other tribes and that of course means other roosters. Poor chap hasn't had a fight in his life and he ends up standing in the open looking extremely distressed because he can see me with the other tribes.
Trying to do the water and food runs is actually quite difficult with a cockerel attached to one boot. I put him back with his tribe often but Fat Bird, the senior hen just bashes him at every opportunity. It's a hard life being male.![]()
Hi cafe
I made a fresh pot of coffee and I'm chilling with my fur babies watching Robin Hood for a few minutes. Kitchen is clean, dishwasher was run, dusted and got the kids out of here. Worked some on the craft room I share with hubs. He is such a ridiculous packrat and I'm more of a minimalist so we clash a bit. I even decided to get rid of my Stephen King books. They just sit there and collect dust and I'm sick of cleaning.
I guess the idea of yard work went out the window because I've decided to go through the kitchen next.
I hope you're all having a great day!
IM, what are you going to do with your King books? I'd gladly pay for shipping them to me!
All that white in her head feathering is duckling normal ?![]()
Well let's be honest here...is anything about that duckling normal?
(I'm waiting for her to pop back in and give us grief over these comments)
She was very special. We have 2 siamese now.

You must really be enjoying the pigeons! Did you get the same breed or are you trying something new?
