Hi guys

I just got done talking to my mom for 3 hours! We talked about everything and nothing, I miss her. It's not like she's far away, an hours drive, but that makes visiting a whole day event. I need to make the time.

Alas, no coffee at home so here I am and there's a fresh pot for you guys.
Hopefully Igor will be home soon, it's test day at school which usually means he's done early. If so, we're going for haircuts and stopping for coffee on our way home.

I'm letting my hair grow. To expensive for a real haircut. Too lazy to cut it myself. Ten minutes of cutting and usually half an hour cleaning up sink,floor, counter tops, clipper etc. Nah, it can wait.

I had a cut from Great Clips, it was HORRIBLE so I saw the manager went to her the next time. She is the only person who has cut my hair in the ladt 10 years. $20 including a good tip. If there's a sale, she gets a bigger tip, I still pay the $20. She's worth her weight in gold!

Do you have long or short hair? Would love to see the style you get. Mine is shoulder length and silver. Oddly I am seeing more (single hairs) of black popping up. I never had black hair just dark brown with red highlights. My mom and sister both had black hair.

Once you find someone that knows how to cut your hair the way you like, best to stick with them.

The same guy that cuts my hair has been doing it for 8 years now and I'm his only customer (it's DH ).

I rarely get my hair cut but when I do, there’s a place right down the road from us, just a few miles, that I like. Originally started going there cause my mom goes there and likes them but neither of us have been in a while lol but I do like them too. There is one woman in particular that is good. I need to go in for a haircut. I have been meaning to make an appointment for months but I don’t like talking on the phone so I keep asking my mom to call and she keeps forgetting so I’m thinking I’m going to have to woman up and call them myself lol or maybe we could both get an appointment together. Need to get a teeth cleaning too. Next week we are going to MN. My hair for some reason is kind of uneven, really long on one side and shorter on the other side. It’s not really noticeable unless it’s wet and straight like out of the shower or swimming because otherwise my hair is curly so the curls hide it but it’s enough that it annoys me lol so thinking I need to get it trimmed and maybe layered or something to it.
