Not yet. Hubby is out fixing to hook up the power inverter. I sure wish i had not started incubating that bator full of eggs yesterday. The other one doesn't have as many left since that hatch. Wish my broodies were old enough to help.

Have you tried wrapping with a tiwel? Might help keep the temp from plummeting too far.

Ahh okay. I was going to give some of mine bathes a while ago cause they had a little bit of poop on their buts but then they molted it off. And nope, never blowdried or bathed one!! But I might if I ever do bathe them. Don’t think I would bathe them inside though. Idk.

At one day of incubation, the eggs would go back into hibernation mode. They will be fine!

That’s true!! Forgot about it being too cold to do outside. It has been pretty warm here lately. Although I guess I was thinking bucket of warm water but chicken would probably get hypothermia I suppose. And that’s true but I can sometimes be a bit of a germophobe/worrier and I think I would still be grossed out by it and still not think it was clean even after that

Yeah, right away. I brought the chicks from the barn inside too. Hubby set up the inverter so we had power. It is back on now.

It's 3:10 am here Shad, pitch dark and cold 9.3F. Sorry I've never been a coffee drinker but, my brother drinks enough for a few people.

Have to go to bed now, and be up in less than 4 hrs. No wonder I shop, having the blind staggers. Just like when I tube fed puppies around the clock many years ago.
